Bateman and Anka have been married for more than two decades. The couple welcomed Francesca in 2006 and Maple in 2012.

In a 2013 interview with Redbook, Bateman opened up about family life, saying, "Being a father of two is everything I wanted."

"I'm a big fan of marriage and being a dad," he shared at the time. "And my wife, Amanda, makes those things easy. She spoils me; she makes the husband part simple."

He credited Anka with "doing a lot of the heavy lifting" while he's busy with work, adding that "I try to make up for it on weekends and when I do get home."

"I respect that she's having to wrangle the two kids by herself," he said.

Bateman has long praised his family as his greatest inspiration.

After winning a SAG Award for "Ozark" in 2019, he called Anka and their daughters "the three most important people" in his life during a press conference, according to People.

"I would like to say, specifically though, to my wife, my two daughters -- Amanda, Franny and Maple -- without you, none of it would be enjoyable and it probably wouldn't be possible," he said at the time. "I love you more than I even tell you I do."

In "Black Rabbit," Bateman stars opposite Jude Law in a dark drama about a rising restaurateur pulled into New York's criminal underworld after his troubled brother returns with dangerous debts.

The series premieres Sept. 18 on Netflix.
