A Pennsylvania doctor received double the joy on his birthday this year.
Dr. David Ream turned 34 on April 8 and delivered two sets of twins that same day for parents Jenna and Taylor Campbell and Raymond and Elizabeth Harr.
Both sets of twins were delivered at Independence Health System's Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
The hospital confirmed the exciting news to ABC News and celebrated the babies' arrival in an April 9 Facebook post.
"I would say it definitely ranks to the top of my most exciting birthday," Ream told Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE.
"Twins are always a fun delivery. It's always a little bit more exciting to deliver twins and to have two on my birthday," Ream added.
Both Ream and the hospital system said the arrival of the families' twins was even more special because Ream shared the unique experience with Dr. Beth Maxwell, who delivered Ream when he was born 34 years ago.
"The rare full-circle moment highlights both the continuity of care and the collaborative spirit of medicine at Independence Health System," a representative for the hospital system told ABC News in an emailed statement.
