A dad from New York pulled off an epic surprise when revealing the sex of his newborn.
Anthony Moneta faked out his relatives who were sitting patiently in the hospital waiting room.
Moneta unzipped his jacket to show he was wearing a blue shirt--a color that's so often associated with a baby boy.
However, Moneta's shirt read, "It's a girl!"
His wife, Daniella Moneta, told "Good Morning America" that their families' stunned reactions were genuine, since many of them predicted the baby would be a boy.
"My mom really wanted us to do a gender reveal but we didn't want to find out [the baby's sex] so I kept thinking, 'maybe I'll tell them in a fun way,'" she said. "I just wanted to trick them a little bit."
Daniella Moneta said she ironed the letters onto two different shirts (in case she had a girl or boy) one week before the birth.
She posted the video on Facebook and it was later picked up by various news outlets.
Sienna Lucia Moneta arrived on Feb. 4 and is a "really good baby," Daniella Moneta said.
