Zooey Deschanel attended a special wedding recently in pretty unconventional attire.
The actress accompanied her date, Jonathan Scott of "Property Brothers," to his brother JD Scott's wedding on Halloween -- and guests all wore costumes to celebrate the nuptials.
"It’s the first time I’ve ever been cat-woman escorted to a fancy dress party wedding by Batman," Deschanel wrote alongside two photos from the ceremony. "Only for the nuptials of @mrjdscott and @annaleebelle could I be so inspired!"
"Congrats to these gorgeous and gracious love birds, I was overjoyed to celebrate such a happy union!" she added.

"We’re so so happy you were able to be there with us! 🤗 Your costumes were great! 🙌🏻," Belle commented on Deschanel's post.
Jonathan also left a comment on her post. "Was happy to give you a lift in my Batman Mobile," he joked.
The third Scott brother, Drew, who hosts "Property Brothers" alongside Jonathan, also shared some images from the wedding.
"Last night was...simply magical—there’s just no other way to describe it," he wrote alongside the snaps.

The groom described the night as "one of the most epic celebrations I have ever witnessed."
