'WandaVision' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' win big at MTV Movie & TV Awards

WATCH: 'WandaVision' wins big at 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards

"WandaVision" and "To All The Boys: Always and Forever" took home the top honors at Sunday night's 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, winning best show and best movie awards, respectively.

"The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" star Anthony Mackie, the new Captain America (formerly known as The Falcon), also won the best hero award while "WandaVision" fan-favorite Kathryn Hahn, who played Agatha Harkness, won best villain.

Mackie also picked up the popcorn-shaped trophy alongside his "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier" co-star Sebastian Stan (a.k.a. The Winter Soldier) for best duo, mysteriously promising "there's more to come" for the Marvel series.

On the topic of heroes and villains, the award for best fight went to Hahn and Elizabeth Olsen for the intense "WandaVision" final battle between Agatha and Wanda, now known as The Scarlet Witch. The two took a beat to shout out the show's special effects team, saying their climatic brawl would have been nothing but dramatic hand gestures had it not been for them.

Olsen also collected the award for best performance in a show.

The most moving moment of the night came when Chadwick Boseman was posthumously honored with best performance in a movie for his role in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom." "Grown-ish" star Yara Shahidi accepted the award on his behalf, saying, "We are honored to celebrate his art today and every day. His impact is everlasting and we are eternally grateful for the ways his presence and his art has changed the world. We love you and we miss you."

Boseman died last August at the age of 43 after a silent battle with cancer.

This year's MTV Movie & TV Awards was hosted by "Supermarket Sweep" host Leslie Jones.
