The very talented and always hilarious Tracee Ellis Ross made a major statement Tuesday night, choosing only to wear outfits from black designers for the 2018 American Music Awards.
The "black-ish" star and AMA host wore 10 outfits the entire night. From a sleek black dress to a power suit, Ross was ready for any performer or occasion.

Before the show kicked off, Ross tweeted, "I’ve featured black designers in all of my @AMAs press looks, and will do the same for all my show looks tonight! Stay tuned for look-by-look details!"

And she wasn't kidding -- she shared them all on social media. Scroll down to see all her looks!
The power suit!
First, she rocked a Pyer Moss suit by Kerby Jean-Raymond. According to its official website, "Pyer Moss aims to use its voice and platform to challenge social narratives and evoke dialogue."

An opening number only outshined by that cape!
This beautiful cape by Dapper Dan of Harlem covered a Nicolas Jebran bodysuit. Dapper Dan just landed a big partnership with Gucci!

Gold!
This CD Greene shining dress definitely stood out, but as the designer's official mission statement boasts, was just as comfortable for Ross to wear as it was glamorous.
"CD Greene sculpts his dresses for effortless comfort allowing each piece to effortlessly flow and drape around the body," his website reads. "Each CD Greene design starts with a personal appointment with his customer. Pencil and sketch pad in hand, Greene fastidiously notes the detail of each woman’s shape and form with all the prowess of a master craftsman."

Rock the vote!
For this relaxed number, Ross chose a Shanel Campbell skirt. Campbell is a 26-year-old Bronx native, who graduated from Parsons and has worked with the likes of Solange Knowles and Ciara.

For this dazzling dress, Ross chose Off-White, "a fashion label rooted in current culture at a taste-level particular to now."

Bust a move Tracee!
The designer of this dress, LAVIEbyCK, made sure to use color that popped, while having the host comfortable enough to dance to all the great music.
The backstory behind LAVIE's founder is just as compelling as her designs.
"Claude Kameni was raised in Cameroon where her passion for fashion was cultivated," her site explains. "After relocating to the United States she was blessed to have the opportunity to mold and enhance her skills. Her personal dedication rubs off in her creations and the smiles they create."
