Terri Irwin remembers late husband Steve Irwin on anniversary of their engagement

Terri Irwin paid tribute to her husband, the late Steve Irwin, in a sweet post to mark the 28th anniversary of their engagement Sunday.

"It was 28 years ago today, here at @AustraliaZoo, that Steve asked me to marry him," she captioned a photo of them embracing. "Life is constantly changing. Love is forever."

The conservationist, who owns the Australia Zoo, often shares special messages remembering her husband, who tragically died in September 2006 from a stingray attack.

The Crocodile Hunter's daughter, Bindi, 21, also posted a message honoring her parents' engagement anniversary.

"28 years ago the two greatest Wildlife Warriors got engaged here @AustraliaZoo," she wrote. "Their love for each other and our planet continues to inspire us all."
