"Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," Swift wrote in the caption of a joint post on Instagram post with Kelce on Tuesday, alongside a carousel of photos from the proposal.

The singer turned off the comments section on the post, which has already amassed more than 12 million likes, but that didn't stop friends and fans from sharing their support for the couple elsewhere.

Kelce's longtime Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes reposted the couple's announcement to his own Instagram story alongside three heart emoji.

Defensive end Mike Danna was the first Chiefs player to speak publicly after the news broke during a preseason presser, footage of which was first shared by "The Kingdom's Queens" podcast host Lexi Osborne on X.

"It's incredible, man. You know, when I heard, I was caught off guard, but great for them, and that's a blessing. Any time you find that type of joy, happiness and love, I think that's a beautiful thing," Danna said. "I'm so happy for them, Trav and Taylor -- that's a wonderful time in life and wonderful part of the journey."

President Donald Trump also weighed in on the Swift-Kelce engagement during a cabinet meeting Tuesday, after a reporter informed him that "the biggest pop culture news of the year" had just broke.

"Well, I wish 'em a lot of luck," Trump began. "I think he's a great player. I think he's a great guy, and I think that she's a terrific person, so I wish them a lot of luck."

The comments were a departure from the president's previous remarks about Swift on social media. Back in May, Trump wrote in a post, "Has anyone noticed that, since I said 'I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,' she's no longer 'HOT?'"

The president appeared to be referring to his 2024 social media comments in response to Swift's endorsement of then-presidential candidate Kamala Harris.

The official NFL X account was among the first to react to Swift and Kelce's engagement news Tuesday, writing simply, "Congratulations to Travis and Taylor."

Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, retired Eagles star Jason Kelce, chimed in with a "how it started" vs. "how it's going" post on X.

The podcast recently went viral after Swift dropped the name and cover art for her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl," in an Aug. 13 interview with the brothers.

In a separate post on Instagram, the "New Heights" account reposted a photoshopped version of the pair's engagement pic with a shirtless and screaming Jason Kelce emerging from one of the rose planters behind them.

In a promotional clip ahead of the latest "New Heights" episode on Wednesday, Jason Kelce congratulated his brother on the engagement news, noting the brothers had recorded the episode Monday, before the news was announced.

"There is one gigantic piece of news that just hit the waves," he said in the clip. "[Travis] is not here to address this himself, but we felt necessary as a team to send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged."

The couple's engagement news also drew a response from lifestyle maven Martha Stewart on Tuesday, who wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, "It’s time to call in the ultimate wedding planner."

The post included clip from an old "Martha Stewart Living" episode, in which Stewart is seen sipping a glass of champagne. Stewart's eponymous wedding publication, Martha Stewart Weddings, was tagged in the post.
