Taylor Swift says her fiance, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, went above and beyond to propose to her nearly two months ago.
The pop icon, whose new album "The Life of a Showgirl" was released early Friday, opened up during an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" that same day.
"He really crushed it in surprising me," Swift said of Kelce. "While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in."
"He went all out -- 10 out of 10," she added.
Swift, 35, also said she and Kelce aren't rushing the timeline for their wedding so far.
"I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning," Swift said. "I think it will be fun to plan."
Swift also stopped by Heart Radio in the U.K. on Friday and gushed about Kelce in another new interview.
"He's such a natural just in life, like, he's just kind of never been nervous about anything in his entire life. So it's pretty fun," said Swift. "He's all the things. He's fun and vibrant and has this infectious personality. Makes me laugh so much. But yeah, there's a line in the song that says that you just wanted a best friend who you think is hot -- like, that's kind of it."
She also spoke about her upcoming wedding and said she hasn't started planning her bachelorette party with her friends yet.
"Everyone's scattered across the world, is the thing," she said.
She added, "You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would do or what I would want until I met the person. So I haven't actually thought about that ... like doing a [bachelorette party]."
