Taylor Swift on Friday announced a new theater event, "The Official Release Party of a Showgirl," set to hit theaters Oct. 3 in coordination with with the release of her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," which is due out the same day.
"I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 - Oct 5 only in cinemas!" Swift wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
She continued, "You'll get to see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for my new single 'The Fate of Ophelia', along with never before seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made it, cut by cut explanations of what inspired this music, and the brand new lyric videos from my new album The Life of a Showgirl ❤️🔥."
"Looks like it's time to brush off that Eras Tour outfit or orange cardigan… Tickets are on sale now," she added. "Dancing is optional but very much encouraged 💃."
Tickets for the event are now on sale at ReleasePartyofaShowgirl.com.
According to Variety, the 89-minute event will run in each of AMC's 540 theaters, though non-AMC theaters will also screen the event.
The event will be priced at $12, before fees, according to the outlet, and will have no trailers or ads preceding the showing. The show will also be presented internationally, according to Variety.
A representative for Swift confirmed the details to ABC News.
Last month, the 14-time Grammy winner announced that her new album was on the way in an interview with the "New Heights" podcast, which is hosted by Swift's fiance Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce.
The upcoming project will be Swift's 12th studio album.
