Seth Rogen won his first Emmy Sunday night for his role on a show that has tied the Emmys record for the most nominations in a single year.

Rogen won his first Emmy for lead actor in a comedy series for his role in "The Studio," which also won the Emmy for outstanding comedy series.

"I’ve never won anything in my life," Rogen said in his acceptance speech for the acting award. "This is really just so lovely ... and I don’t know what to say -- this is so nice!"

Later in the show, Rogen also two more Emmys for his work on "The Studio" -- best directing for a comedy series, which he shared with Evan Goldberg, and best writing for a comedy series, which he shared with Evan Goldberg, Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez.

Accepting the Emmy for outstanding comedy series Rogen said, "I am legitimately embarrassed by how happy this makes me."

Ahead of the 2025 Emmy Awards, "The Studio" was already generating major buzz with a total of 23 nominations.

The Apple TV+ comedy, featuring stars Seth Rogen, Catherine O'Hara and Kathryn Hahn, premiered its first season in March 2025.

The series follows a Hollywood studio head navigating the clash between corporate demands and his passion for making great films.

With its 23 nominations at the 2025 Emmy Awards, the show tied the all-time record set by "The Bear" in 2024, according to a press release.

"The Studio" follows Matt Remick (Rogen), who is appointed as the head of the film production company Continental Studios.

"Desperate for celebrity approval, he and his executive team at Continental Studios must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and relevant," a synopsis reads.

When did 'The Studio' premiere?

The Apple TV+ comedy premiered its first season in March 2025. The season featured 10 episodes, with all episodes now available to stream.

In May, creators and executive producers Rogen and Evan Goldberg confirmed the show had been renewed for season 2.

Who stars in 'The Studio'?

The star-studded cast is led by Rogen as Matt, joined by O'Hara as former studio head Patty Leigh and Hahn as Maya Mason, the studio's head of marketing.

Ike Barinholtz also stars in the series as Continental's vice president of production Sal Saperstein, and Chase Sui Wonders stars as junior studio executive Quinn Hackett.
