"Stranger Things 5" is reaching its end.
Fans have been glued to their screens since the release of the fifth season's first and second volume and now are anticipating how the series will conclude.
Many are also wondering if questions about Vecna, a.k.a. Henry Creel, the Upside Down and more will finally be answered.
The beloved science fiction series following the eerie happenings in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s, and a teenage group of friends looking to uncover the town's mysteries, has captivated audiences since it was first released in 2016.
As the series comes to an end, "Stranger Things" star Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, told "Good Morning America" that he hopes fans are "satisfied and content and ready to say goodbye to these characters and these stories."
He added, "I hope they love the final episode as much as we did reading it."
Spoiler alert: If you haven't caught up with "Stranger Things 5" volume 1 and 2 yet, look away now.
Following Vol. 1's climactic ending with Will tapping into his connection with Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) to help save his friends from an army of Demogorgons, the plot deepened in Vol. 2 with Will figuring out how to use his powers.
"Will's powers extend beyond what we've already seen," Bower said about Will in Vol. 2. "And if they were a minor vexation to Vecna in that first chapter become a greater cause of pain in this volume for sure."
Additionally, the biggest revelation about the Upside Down came to light when Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) discovers another realm beyond the Upside Down -- The Abyss.
Vol 2., which dropped Christmas Day, also saw Max (Sadie Sink) and Holly Wheeler (Nell Fisher) continuing their journey out of Vecna's grip and attempting to escape he red void. While Max finally makes it out of Vecna's mind and returns to her body, which had been in a coma for two years after being attacked by Vecna (season 4), Holly does not and returns back into Vecna's web.
Meanwhile, longtime couple Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), have an "un-proposal" a.k.a. breakup and narrowly escape death in the Upside Down while almost being engulfed in a room of gray sludge.
Yes! The series finale trailer arrived on Tuesday.
It opens with an emotional moment with Jim Hopper (David Harbour) telling his adopted daughter Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) to "fight one last time."
He continues, "Life has been so unfair to you. Your childhood was taken from you. You've been attacked, manipulated, by terrible people, but you never let it break you. Fight for the days on the other side of this. Fight for a world beyond Hawkins. Let's end this, kid."
As Hopper delivers the monologue, pivotal scenes from all of the five seasons of "Stranger Things" play in a montage before we see the crew begin the final battle with Vecna.
