Sophie Turner is Lara Croft in a new image from the upcoming Prime Video series.

With the "Tomb Raider" reboot series now officially in production, Amazon MGM Studios has released a first-look image of the former "Game of Thrones" star looking the part of the iconic video game character.

Turner appears ready for adventure in the new photo, sporting a green tank top, black shorts, red-tinted sunglasses and Croft's signature gun holsters, her hair pulled back from her face.

The upcoming series is based on the iconic video game franchise, according to a press release, and will follow the adventures of world-famous archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft (Turner).

The cast, which was recently announced, also includes Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan,  Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie and August Wittgenstein, according to the release.

"Fleabag" star Phoebe Waller-Bridge will lead the series as the creator, writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner alongside Chad Hodge, who serves as co-showrunner and executive producer.

Jonathan Van Tulleken will serve as director and executive producer.

Turner is the latest actress to take on the role of Lara Croft. Angelina Jolie previously played the part in 2001's "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and its sequel, 2003's "The Cradle of Life." Alicia Vikander took over the role in the 2018 film reboot, "Tomb Raider."

In September, when it was announced that Turner would take on the beloved character next, the actress said in a statement that she was "thrilled beyond measure" to play her.

"She's such an iconic character, who means so much to so many -- and I am giving everything I've got," she said at the time.
