Robert Irwin's family share their support ahead of 'Dancing with the Stars' finale

WATCH: Sharna Burgess opens up about 'Dancing with the Stars' finale

The Irwin family is supporting Robert Irwin ahead of his performance on the finale of "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday night.

Mom Terri Irwin shared a touching Instagram Reel on Monday, featuring home video clips of a young Robert Irwin with her and his late father Steve Irwin.

"Robert, when you dance for the final time tomorrow, I will be holding a lifetime of love in my heart," Terri Irwin wrote in the accompanying caption. "You were the boy full of wonder and adventure, with such compassion for every creature. Your father's son. This journey of dance will shape your life forever. Treasure this day always."

Robert Irwin's older sister Bindi Irwin also shared a supportive Instagram post that included a throwback photo of "DWTS" pro turned judge Derek Hough, her mom, and her brother backstage at "DWTS" when she was a celebrity competitor in 2015, during the show's 21st season.

"Robert, 10 years ago you cheered for me as Derek and I took the @dancingwiththestars mirrorball home. Tomorrow, it's your turn," wrote Bindi Irwin. "No matter what, always know how proud I am of you and how lucky I feel to be your sister."

Robert Irwin, 21, and his pro partner Witney Carson are headed into the season 34 finale in a strong position.

"DWTS" season 27 pro champion Sharna Burgess weighed in on the pair's chances of taking home the Mirrorball Trophy on "Good Morning America" Tuesday.

"I think right now, it is Robert's to lose," Burgess said. "I think the only one that can challenge him, in my honest opinion, is Alix [Earle]."

Alongside Robert Irwin and Carson, the other finalists include Earle and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy, Dylan Efron and pro Daniella Karagach, Elaine Hendrix and pro Alan Bersten, and Jordan Chiles and pro Ezra Sosa.

The season 34 finale of "Dancing with the Stars" will air live Tuesday night on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. It will be simulcast live across Disney+ in local time zones and the next day on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Co. is the parent company of ABC, ABC News, Disney+ and Hulu.
