Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's home team was by his side when he accepted the MVP award at the NFL Honors Tuesday night.
The 37-year-old took the stage at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco alongside his four young daughters -- Tyler, Hunter, and twins Chandler and Sawyer -- whom he shares with wife Kelly Stafford.
The 17-year NFL veteran gave a loving shoutout to his family in his award acceptance speech.
"[Kelly Stafford's] my rock. I want to let you know the sacrifices -- I see you. I love you. I appreciate you very much," Matthew Stafford said. "And to my four beautiful daughters, who I'm lucky enough to be sharing the stage with … Chandler, Sawyer, Hunter, Tyler, I'm so happy to be able to teach the blessings and those lessons of this game to you guys, through you guys. You're unbelievable cheerleaders for me. I appreciate it."
At the end of his speech, Matthew Stafford also confirmed that he plans on returning to the Rams for an 18th season next year, putting potential retirement rumors to rest.
"I am so happy to have [my daughters] at the games on the sideline with me, and I can't wait for [them] to cheer me on next year when we're out there kicking a--," he said.
