Prince William and his wife Kate, the Princess of Wales, stepped out Wednesday night at the state banquet held for President Donald Trump during his state visit to the United Kingdom.
William and Kate walked together into the banquet, ahead of Tiffany Trump, the daughter of the president, and her husband, Michael Boulos.
Kate wore a couture gown by British designer Phillipa Lepley and the Lover's Knot Tiara, which she has worn to other state banquets and events in the past.
The tiara, which is encrusted with pearls and diamonds, was previously beloved by Kate's mother-in-law, the late Princess Diana, and was created for Queen Elizabeth II's grandmother Queen Mary in 1914.
At the banquet, Kate was seated next to Trump, who attended the banquet alongside his wife, first lady Melania Trump.
The president and first lady attended the banquet alongside King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Earlier in the day, William and Kate greeted the president and his wife as they arrived at Windsor Castle.
William, dressed in a dark suit and tie, and Kate, dressed in a maroon coat dress and coordinating hat, shook hands with the president and first lady as they stepped off Marine One and began their second state visit in the U.K.
Trump is the first elected political leader in modern times to be hosted for two state visits by a British monarch, having already been hosted by William's grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth, in 2019.
After being greeted by William and Kate, Trump and the first lady were welcomed by Charles and Camilla, who spent the day with the Trumps.
The first lady stood out in a gray skirt suit and a mauve hat, both by Dior, according to Vogue.
The Trumps and the royals were then taken by carriage to Windsor Castle, where they observed a ceremonial reception.
After eating lunch together, Charles and Camilla joined the president and first lady on a tour of the Royal Collection inside Windsor Castle, after which Kate and William led U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on a similar tour.
William and Kate live in Windsor full-time with their three children, Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.
William, the eldest son of Charles and the late Princess Diana, is first in line to the throne.
