Hollywood's biggest stars are gathering Sunday night to celebrate the year's standout achievements in film at the 98th Academy Awards.

Heading into the ceremony, "Sinners" led the nominations with a record 16 nods, including best picture, best director and best original screenplay.

"One Battle After Another" followed with 13 nominations. "Frankenstein," "Marty Supreme" and "Sentimental Value" each earned nine nominations.

Those films are all competing for best picture, along with "The Secret Agent," "Hamnet," "F1," "Train Dreams" and "Bugonia."
