The 98th Academy Awards turned into a family affair for some of Hollywood's biggest stars.
Nominee Kate Hudson made Sunday night at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles even more star-studded by bringing her mom, legendary actress Goldie Hawn.
Hudson and Hawn walked the red carpet together in celebration of Hudson's second Oscar nomination, this year as best actress in a leading role for her role in "Song Sung Blue."
Hudson was last nominated for an Oscar 25 years ago for her role in "Almost Famous."
This year, in addition to having her mom at her side, Hudson was also supported at the Oscars by Hawn's longtime partner, Kurt Russell.
Like her daughter, Hawn is also a two-time Oscar nominee, for her roles in "Cactus Flower" and "Private Benjamin."
Hawn won the best supporting actress Oscar for "Cactus Flower" in 1970.
One of Hudson's fellow Oscar nominees this year, Michael B. Jordan, also made Sunday night a family affair, bringing his parents as well as his brother and sister on the red carpet.
Jordan is nominated for best actor in a leading role for his role in "Sinners," which leads all movies at this year's awards with 16 total nominations.
