Derek Chauvin, the man who knelt on Floyd's neck, and three other Minneapolis Police Department officers involved in the incident have been fired as a result. A federal investigation into the matter is currently underway.

The effort was spearheaded by Nash's 'Reno 911' co-star Cedric Yarborough who himself is from Minneapolis. "We hope that this small gesture will help the Floyd family," the former 'Speechless' star told 'GMA' in a statement.
