"Shrek 5" has added two new cast members.
DreamWorks announced in a post on the film's official Instagram page Thursday that comedian and "Saturday Night Live" cast member Marcello Hernandez and "Superman" and "The Righteous Gemstones" actor Skyler Gisondo had joined the movie.
The post featured a humorous video of a text message exchange between the two actors, with both displaying varying levels of excitement about their new roles.
"The Brogres have entered the chat," the caption read.
The two actors will voice Shrek and Fiona's sons Fergus and Farkle, according to Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation's parent company.
The pair join an already star-studded cast, which includes Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Fiona, and Zendaya as Shrek and Fiona's daughter Felicia.
"Shrek 5" was first announced in July last year.
The highly anticipated upcoming film will take fans back to a land "Far, Far Away for a thrilling new adventure," according to a Universal Pictures press release.
Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn are directing, and Gina Shay and Chris Meledandri are producing the film.
Brad Ableson is co-directing.
"Shrek 5" will arrive in theaters on June 30, 2027.
