Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are soaking up the desert sun.
The global pop super star and the former Canadian prime minister posed together for photos and videos while attending Coachella in Indio, California, over the weekend.
"Heat checkin' these chickens," Perry wrote in the caption of an Instagram post on Sunday, a reference to the song "Speed Demon" by Justin Bieber, who headlined the world-famous music and arts festival.
In her post, Perry shared several snapshots of her and Trudeau together, including a photo of them sitting side by side, snacking away while holding red Solo cups.
In a video included in the post, Perry is seen dancing along to "Speed Demon" while Trudeau stands behind her.
Trudeau traded in his traditional business attire for more festival-appropriate gear for the day, donning a white T-shirt, backwards cap and blue jeans. Perry coordinated with Trudeau in a white tee, white shorts and black boots.
Perry and Trudeau were far from the only celebrities in attendance in the Coachella Valley this weekend. The star-studded weekend included performances from Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, Sombr and more of the biggest names in music.
Trudeau and Perry have not publicly commented on their relationship, but the pair have been spotted publicly and on social media attending a variety of events together in recent months.
In December, Perry and Trudeau met with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, posing for a photo Kishida later posted on social media.
Perry split with ex Orlando Bloom last year, having first started dating in 2016. The former couple got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019 and welcomed their first child together, Daisy Dove Bloom, in August 2020.
Trudeau previously announced his separation from estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, a retired Canadian TV host, in August 2023.
"As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and for everything we have built and will continue to build," Trudeau wrote in a statement shared on Instagram that month.
The former couple share three children, Xavier, Ella-Grace and Hadrien.
