John Travolta's daughter Ella shares video of new song, reveals EP is coming

John Travolta and Kelly Preston's daughter, Ella, is embarking on a music career.

The 21-year-old actress shared a video Saturday in which she performed a piece of an original song of hers on the piano.

Alongside her post, she shared more details about her plans to release more music in 2022.

"There is something I’ve been working on for the past year that is very dear to my heart," she wrote about the song. "I wanted to share a part of a song that I wrote that will be on my EP coming out next year. Very excited (and nervous🙈). Hope you like it!❤️"

Her father praised her talent in a comment on the post: "I’m so very proud of you Ella, its amazing! Your thrilled Dad! ❤️❤️❤️"

Ella's music announcement comes after she revealed in March 2021 that she will star in the upcoming film "Get Lost," which she described as a "modern day reimagining of 'Alice in Wonderland.'"

She shared another post in September to announce that filming for the Daniela Amavia-directed project, which took place in in Budapest, Hungary, had wrapped.

"This has been such an incredible experience," she shared. "Budapest has been a dream, and most importantly I’ve gotten to meet and work with so many amazing people. Thank you so so much to all of the cast and crew who worked so hard on this film and brought everything to life so beautifully."

Ella is one of John Travolta's three children with his late wife, actress Kelly Preston, who died of breast cancer in July 2020.

John and Kelly are also parents to 11-year-old Benjamin and Jett, who died in January 2009 at the age of 16 after suffering a seizure at their family's vacation home in the Bahamas.
