John Travolta took to social media Wednesday to wish his late wife, Kelly Preston, a happy birthday.
The actress, who died last year of cancer, would have been 59 years old.
"Happy Birthday Kelly. We miss and love you very much," Travolta wrote.
Travolta, 67, opened up in August about how he's broached the subject of his wife's death with their 10-year-old son, Benjamin. During an appearance on Kevin Hart's talk show, "Hart to Heart," the actor said that Benjamin was worried that Travolta might die too.
The "Saturday Night Fever" star said that he responded, "I'm gonna tell you the truth about life. Nobody knows when they're gonna go or when they're gonna to stay."
"I could die tomorrow. You could. I mean, anybody can," he recalled telling his son. "It's part of life, you see? You don't know exactly. You just do your best at trying to live the longest you can."
Travolta and Preston had three children together: Jett, who died in 2009 at the age of 16; Ella, 21, and Benjamin.
