Texting the wrong person can be a humiliating experience, but not for actress Jennifer Garner, who decided to share the hilarious mix-up to her millions of fans.

Garner said she thought she was texting her "Alias" co-star Carl Lumbly, but, instead, accidentally touched base with a total stranger.

Texting the person whom she had saved as her "Carl" contact, the 49-year-old actress wrote out, "Carl--this is Jen G. Here comes proof."

The "13 Going on 30" star laughed off the mistake and wrote back to the stranger, "Hahaha... Well this is me!... I'm looking for my old [friend]." It is unclear if the person she was texting responded, nor has anyone come forward as the person to have been contacted by Garner.

Meanwhile, the actress' "Alias" co-stars weighed in on Lumbly, who played Marcus Dixon on the show. Kevin Weisman, who played Marshall Flinkman in the '00s series, promised Garner, "I'll find him." "Where is he??? I miss him too," commented Greg Grunberg, who played Eric Weiss.
