Jane Seymour is proving it's never too late for love.
The "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" star, 74, is opening up about finding love again in her 70s with her boyfriend John Zambetti in a new interview.
"I honestly never thought I would find a really committed, healthy, lovely, loving relationship at this time of my life, but I'm incredibly blessed that I have," Seymour told Hello magazine, adding, "Seventy is the new 50."
Despite the couple meeting later in life and Seymour having been married four times previously, the actress, who currently stars in the comedy-drama series "Harry Wild," said she wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
"I consider both of us so fortunate to have found each other at the time we have, because it wouldn't have ever worked earlier. He had a different life -- his world was medicine and touring, and mine was running around the world making movies," Seymour said of her relationship with Zambetti, an emergency room physician and musician, who is also in his 70s. "I think we met each other at exactly the right time."
According to Seymour, she and Zambetti met after their children introduced them -- Seymour is a mother of six, while Zambetti is a father of two -- and she said they have been dating for two years.
"Every month, on the fourth, he sends me roses, wherever I am, whatever's going on. We're just so grateful for every minute we have together," Seymour said.
Earlier this year, Seymour celebrated Zambetti's birthday and shared an Instagram video of herself toasting him.
"Happy birthday to my partner in crime, laughter and adventure!" she wrote in the post's caption. "John, your humor lights up every day, and your company turns every moment into something extraordinary."
