Police are still looking into the shooting death of a juvenile in Florida who is reported to be the step-grandson of Duane "Dog" Chapman.
A spokesperson for the Collier County Sheriff's Office told ABC News Tuesday that the investigation is ongoing into the July 19 shooting at a residence in Naples, Florida.
"Our detectives are conducting a thorough investigation looking into all the elements of this tragic incident," the spokesperson said in a statement. "The investigation includes statements from witnesses who were at the scene, forensic testing, subpoenas, and search warrants."
Police have not publicly identified the victim of the shooting. A police incident report obtained by ABC News has the names of the people involved redacted.
The police report states the suspect in the shooting is the father of the child who died.
According to TMZ, the child who passed away is the grandson of Chapman's wife, Francie Chapman, whom he wed in 2021.
A spokesperson for the Chapmans said in a statement to TMZ Sunday, "We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony."

According to the police incident report, a sheriff's deputy was called to an apartment in Naples just after 8 p.m. on July 19.

The firearm was found on the kitchen island of the apartment, according to the report.
The gunshot victim was declared dead at 8:21 p.m., according to the report.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office spokesperson described the shooting as an "isolated incident."
