Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson are singing the hits.
The "Song Sung Blue" co-stars revealed the first look at their upcoming film on Tuesday, in which they star as bandmates in a Neil Diamond tribute band.

"More love notes for everyone involved to come… but right now I am just so excited to share with you that we have a release date," she added.
In the first-look photo, Hudson and Jackman can be seen huddled around a keyboard leaning into microphones. Hudson plays and sings, while Jackman sings along on a microphone.
Jackman also shared the image on Instagram, writing, "The iconic songs of Neil Diamond. Here's your first look at Song Sung Blue, experience it on the big screen - only in theaters this Christmas."
The film, which is a musical drama directed by "Footloose" (2011) director Craig Brewer, also stars Michael Imperioli, Fisher Stevens, Jim Belushi, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir and Hudson Hilbert Hensley.

"Song Sung Blue" is based on the 2008 documentary of the same name directed by Greg Kohs, according to Focus Features.
The "Song Sung Blue" film will hit theaters Christmas Day 2025.
