Emilia Clarke reveals Jennifer Lopez was her inspiration for the Emmys

During the 2019 Emmy Awards on Sunday night, Emilia Clarke revealed her inspiration for the night -- superstar Jennifer Lopez.

During a red carpet interview before the show, the Emmy-nominated "Game of Thrones" actress shared, "I think that J.Lo in 'Hustlers' is the greatest introduction of a character I have ever seen."

"I heckled in the cinema -- I'm English, I don't do that, but I did -- so J.Lo is my inspiration for this evening. I plan on channeling her all night long," she continued.

Lopez caught wind of Clarke's praises and reposted the interview on her Instagram account. "When the Mother of Dragons meets #Ramona. 🔥 #dead #HustlersMovie I love u @emilia_clarke 💙 #daenerys," she captioned her post.

Although Clarke didn't win the Emmy award for outstanding lead actress in a drama series, "Game of Thrones" took home the award for best drama series.
