Ciara kicked of 2021 by sharing heartwarming footage of her family -- and a hopeful message for the new year.
The singer, who hosted the West Coast broadcast of ABC's "New Year's Rockin' Eve," posted a video of herself alongside her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, and her children on Friday, alongside well wishes to her followers.
Ciara and Wilson have a 3-year-old daughter, Sienna, and a 5-month-old son, Win; the singer also has a 6-year-old son, Future, from a previous relationship.
"Grateful for Laughter, Joy, Family & Love. Hopeful for a better New Year for the World!" she wrote. "Happy New Year to All! @DangeRussWilson #HappyNewYear."
Added Wilson in a post of his own: "2020... brought challenges. Obstacles...opportunities to change... great loss of loved ones come and gone... as well as new life. 2021... I don’t know what you will bring... but for my family we will continue to Believe that Love is the way!"
The "I Got You" singer told ABC Audio late last year that she's been focused on her children recently, helping her older children with their classes and breastfeeding her baby. However, she added, new music is coming in the "near, near future."
"Music [creates]...a good moment to let go, to also relax and just have some good feelings flowing throughout," she said. "I can't wait to share it with the world."
