The 32nd Annual Actor Awards, presented by SAG‑AFTRA, hit a poignant note Sunday when Catherine O'Hara received special posthumous recognition for her acclaimed work on "The Studio."
Her co-star and creator of the hit Apple TV series, Seth Rogen, accepted the award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series and reflected on the late comedic actress' generosity and creativity.
O'Hara died in January at the age of 71.
Sunday's awards ceremony also marked a major turning point in the winner projections.
Ryan Coogler's "Sinners" continued its award season run, picking up the award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, while Michael B. Jordan delivered one of the night's biggest surprises by winning best male lead for his dual‑role performance in "Sinners."
Jordan's victory shifted the awards season momentum weeks before the Oscars.
