Brooke Shields is celebrating her youngest daughter Grier Henchy on her 17th birthday.
The actress and model, 57, took to Instagram on April 18 to share a sweet message to her daughter for her special day, writing, "Happy 17th Birthday Grier!!!"

Shields included in her post a few photos of herself and Grier recently, as well as some adorable throwback photos -- and even a video -- of the mother-daughter duo throughout the years.
Shields shares both Grier and her eldest daughter Rowan Henchy, 19, with longtime husband Chris Henchy, whom she married in 2001.

The mother of two said her daughter's career choice was something she had to "come around" to, explaining, "The most interesting thing to me is that they won't let her do anything until she's 18, so when I heard that, that was sort of a revelation to me, I was happy about that."
While she admitted there are "many more protections for these girls" in today's modeling industry, Shields said she still feels it's a "devastating business."
