'Boy Meets World' star William Daniels talks turning 99

WATCH: 'Boy Meets World' reunion!

"Boy Meets World" alum William Daniels may be turning 99 on Tuesday, but he says he doesn't feel it.

The actor, best known for his role as Mr. Feeny on the beloved '90s sitcom, told People in an interview published Tuesday, "I certainly don't feel 99 years old, that's for sure."

He also kept a sense of humor about his milestone 100th birthday next year, joking, "Oh, I don't want to be 100. Who wants to be 100?"

Daniels has been married to his wife Bonnie Bartlett since 1951, and the couple share two sons, Robert and Michael.

As for his 99th birthday celebration plans, Daniels said his "whole family is getting together."

"My two sons, their wives, and our four grandchildren. Half of our family lives on the East Coast, so it's great to have everyone in one place," he said.

Daniels said he stays active by working out with a personal trainer, attending conventions and filming Cameos for fans.

"I do hundreds of Cameos every year, and that feels good," he said. "It allows me to perform, which demands a certain amount of energy and focus. I think that's good for me. I like being productive."

Daniels also spoke to People about his longtime marriage to Bartlett, sharing their secret to staying together for more than seven decades.

"I think the main reason why we've been married for 75 years is because we never seriously considered being with anyone else," he said. "So we had to work things out. You know?"

In addition to "Boy Meets World," Daniels has appeared in series such as "St. Elsewhere," "Knight Rider," and "Captain Nice," as well as films including "The Graduate" and "Two for the Road."

Last year, Daniels also appeared as a surprise Dedication Night guest on "Dancing with the Stars."
