Bon Jovi has dropped its latest collaboration, "Living Proof," featuring Jelly Roll.
The song is a reimagined version of the track from the band’s 2024 album, "Forever," and comes as a preview for the upcoming "Forever (Legendary Edition)," due out Oct. 24 via Island Records.
The track is now available to stream, and fans can watch the official lyric video online.
The collaboration between Bon Jovi and Jelly Roll was born from a chance meeting at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, where Jelly Roll performed in honor of Jon Bon Jovi, according to the press release.
Their friendship quickly grew, leading to the creation of this new version of "Living Proof."
"Living Proof" marks the first release from "Forever (Legendary Edition)," a 14-track album that will feature multiple collaborations with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, James Bay, Lainey Wilson, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne, among others.
In a statement about the album, Jon Bon Jovi explained that the album was inspired by his vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab.
"I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach for me," Bon Jovi said in an official statement. "Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need."
The album is described as a collection of collaborations that reflect the support he received from fellow musicians during a challenging time in his career.
