A wedding is one of the most memorable days of a person's life. For Bindi Irwin, who said "I Do" to her longtime partner Chandler Powell on March 28, that precious moment was almost destroyed by the paparazzi.
The Irwin family shared Bindi's big day in a special that aired Saturday on Animal Planet, "Crikey! It's the Irwins: Bindi's Wedding."
Bindi, 21, says that her wedding plans had already been upended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so her big day was only attended by mom Terri, brother Robert and Wes Mannion, her latefather's best friend.

The Africa Savannah is a construction that was her father's "biggest dream" before his untimely passing in 2006.
Revealing that her extended family, as well as Chandler's, were more than understanding of their situation, the paparazzi was not so understanding and showed up.
Besides the paparazzi, a helicopter began circling over the zoo, spooking the animals because of how close it was flying.
"Somehow the media has gotten the news that we are getting married. Now, the problem is that they're scaring all of our animals," Bindi remarked. "Thanks to our friends in the paparazzi business, our entire outdoor wedding venue is ruined."

"Now we can't get married outside with all of our animals, for their health and safety, like we had planned for so many months," she lamented as her family labored to piece together a new plan to salvage the day.
"Paparazzi wasn't going to stop us now. World crisis, paparazzi, change of date, but it's happening. We are getting married, people," she announced and, despite the interference, still enjoyed her special day.
