'Bachelorette' Clare Crawley dishes on new season ahead of premiere

WATCH: 'Bachelorette' Clare Crawley dishes on her upcoming season premiering tonight

Clare Crawley teased her dramatic season of "The Bachelorette" during an appearance on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday.

Ahead of the show's 16th season premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, Crawley would not reveal if she is currently in love, but did share "I am in love with life right now. Things are really good. It's good not being in quarantine, I'll tell you that."

She also said that it was "100% a blessing" to be able to film the show amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show halted production in March 2020 and resumed filming sequestered in a bubble in an undisclosed location shortly after to continue the season.

"Even in the pandemic -- going into that being the Bachelorette -- there was no security going, this is when we're going to do it, this is what we're going to do, this is how we're going to do it," she said. "There was no security on any of that because with the pandemic there was so much unknown, so it was definitely scary."

Although she didn't give many details of the upcoming season, Crawley did give her opinion on the group of men who were competing for her heart.

Editor's Picks

"These men really stepped up and I think having that long awaited time in between, I believe it was almost six months, they really did an excellent job of recasting men that would suit me and that were my type," she said. "So these guys that showed up really brought their 'A' game. It was an exceptional group of men."

The show's host Chris Harrison also recently sat down with ABC Audio to shed some light on the rumors surrounding Crawley's season before the big premiere. "There's some crazy rumors. I think people have an idea of what happens this season," noted Harrison. "I can assure you they don't."

In fact, he says fans need to buckle up because this season is going to be "a wild ride."

The biggest rumor hanging above "The Bachelorette" this year is all about Crawley herself and whether or not she even finishes the season. "What I can confirm is it is Clare’s season. It is 100% her season. And it's all about her journey to find love," Harrison maintained, but, true to his style, let something slip to build up the suspense.
