'Avengers: Endgame': New reports say the movie is 3 hours long

WATCH: 'Avengers: Endgame' posters released

We are less than one month away from the release of this year's biggest film: "Avengers: Endgame."

On Tuesday, Marvel Studios dropped new character images with the caption, "Avenge the Fallen."

The phrase refers to half the universe being wiped out in the previous film "Infinity War" after the Mad Titan Thanos collected all the infinity stones and completed his snap heard round the galaxy. That was a mouthful!

In the images, we have a mix of the "fallen" and those still left, trying to reverse what the Mad Titan did.

A 3-hour tour!

These new images come on the heels of reports that the movie clocks in at three hours!

The website for the theater chain AMC has posted the alleged running time of the film, which has since been taken down.

In an interview with Collider last month, brothers and directors Joe and Anthony Russo had mentioned that early cuts of the movie were clocking in at over three hours -- and nobody who saw the advance screenings left for a bathroom break.

At the time, Joe Russo noted, "We're still at the three-hour mark. I think the studio is down with what the best story is."

He added, "When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours' worth of real estate."

A three-hour, two-minute running time would make "Avengers: Endgame" the longest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by a mile.

Imagine if the heroes lost

In a new featurette posted to Instagram, Robert Downey Jr. and others imagine "if for the first time, all our heroes lost."

Well, that is what the gang is up against after the failure in "Infinity War."

Chris Evans adds, "Everyone's doing their best to keep their head above water but it's kind of a losing battle."

The clip is a nice behind-the-scenes look at the world after "Infinity War."

Everything else - Trailers, Captain Marvel and more

We've had two full-ish trailers thus far, the second which finally included Captain Marvel, who might be the key to stopping Thanos.

And like Evans mentioned, we also get a glimpse of how the universe is handling losing half of all living things.

Finally, there are the sad parts.

We know it's Evans last run as Captain America. And Downey's character Iron Man could be facing his demise.
