Aerosmith, Yungblud and Lainey Wilson drop new 'Wild Woman' version with a country twist

WATCH: Host announced for 59th annual CMA Awards

Aerosmith, Yungblud and Lainey Wilson have teamed up for a reimagining of “Wild Woman,” released on Dec. 5 as an all-new version of the track from Aerosmith and Yungblud’s collaborative EP "One More Time."

The updated take features Wilson’s vocals over the original’s blues-rock song, bringing what the official press release calls “a distinct country edge” to the song’s driving energy.

Yungblud praised Wilson’s contribution, saying in the official press release, “I’m really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us… We needed a wild woman and we for sure got one!”

According to the official press release, Wilson’s involvement followed her onstage duet with Steven Tyler at the 2025 "Jam for Janie" benefit. Tyler and Yungblud later invited her to record vocals for the track, with Joe Perry returning to the studio to craft new guitar work for the version.

The artists also gave fans a closer look at the collaboration, sharing behind-the-scenes recording footage in a joint Instagram post that shows Wilson in the studio and Steven Tyler, Yungblud and Joe Perry performing the song.

The collaboration arrives amid a milestone year for Wilson, who hosted the 2025 CMA Awards, earned multiple GRAMMY nominations, headlined the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and scored a No. 1 country hit with “Somewhere Over Laredo.”
