50 Cent was full of praise for Dr. Dre and Eminem as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday.

"I don't think my career would've been what it was without [Dr. Dre and Eminem's] support," the "Power" star said at the ceremony on Hollywood Blvd., according to Billboard. "Dre is a mentor for the whole squad. He was a mentor for the whole squad because he could guide us in different ways without even him knowing it."

Slim Shady introduced 50 Cent to the iconic producer in 2002. The New York City rapper then signed a joint contract with Eminem’s Shady Records label, and Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.

50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, expressed regret that Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine was not present at the ceremony. He credits Iovine with inspiring his multimedia career.

"I was wrong for not inviting him and not having him here today because he's a big part of the success I had," he said. "When he pointed at the TV, that's when I started thinking, 'I should do film and television.'"

"One of the first things I noticed was his presence. It just kind of felt like he was going to be a star. He was the whole package," the "8 Mile" star said.

"I'm here today because he's not only a business partner to me, this is one of the best friends I've known in the world," he continued. "I'll say it's much more fun to be his friend than it is his enemy. He's always been there when I needed him."

In addition to Eminem and Dre, "Power" co-stars La La Anthony and Joseph Sikora were among the celebrities attending the ceremony.
