How 13 celebrities celebrated Valentine's Day

WATCH: Valentine's Day by the numbers: The average person spends $196 on their significant other

In the age of social media, conventional Valentine's Day wisdom dictates: receiving a box of chocolates or a bouquet requires an Instagram post.

Stars from Tom Brady to Kate Hudson have marked Feb. 14 by wishing their loved ones a happy Valentine's Day on social media, replete with lovey-dovey photos.

"My forever Valentine," Brady wrote alongside a photo of him with his wife, Gisele Bündchen.

Bündchen responded with a similar pic, and added: Te amo! [I love you!] Wishing you all a happy Valentine's Day."

When I first asked @vanderkimberly what she was looking for in a relationship, she said, “I'm not looking for a relationship.” Lucky for me... she was wrong. Might be the last time that's happened. 🤐 Beyond grateful to get to share this journey with you, baby... I love you 💕#HappyValentinesDay
